Got up at 9 and after walking the dogs I went into Walmart for the same purpose. I looked online and found a laundromat and the address of Carlo Rossi. I secured everything inside and out and drove about 5 miles to the address. There was a gate so I was not able to get in. There was no Carlo Rossi sign anywhere. I drove around for 30 minutes or so trying to find a building with a sign on it. I came across another gate, this one had an attendant and he informed me that the huge tanks inside were associated with a tomato processing plant. I drove on and found a park. I parked along a dirt road in the back and took the dogs on a walk around the park. When I got back to aRTy I fed the dogs and made myself some oats for breakfast.  As I was eating I finished yesterday's blog entry.

Earlier as I was driving there I saw a nice thrift store so I drove back there and checked it out. They had a lot of dishes and some were complete sets.

I found a set that either Mom or Nana, Alison's Paternal Grandmother had. Nana was such an amazing GreatGrandmother to Zack. She was great to me as well. We spent at least a couple evenings with her every week. She was the first person Zack said "I love you" to which was fine by me. They also had three cup saucers that match the classic blue Corelle set I have of Granny's. I still need to find the cups. I sure miss Nana and Granny!

There was a real nice knee trike. While I hope I never need it for its intended purpose I saw a lot of potential in repurposing projects. It is even blue so I just couldn't pass it up. You may be seeing and/or hearing about the trike in later posts. Keep tuned in!

After getting back to aRTy I drove a mile or so to the laundromat. It was a nice and clean facility so I parked and gathered my supplies and dirty clothes. It took about an hour but I got everything clean and fresh. I got all my clean clothes put away and the clean sheets on the bed. I think Wiggin really appreciated the clean sheets!

I drove back to the Walmart I parked at the previous night and parked close to the same spot on the side road. I went inside to use the restroom. As I was looking around I noticed a pair of over the ear headphones that were marked down because they had been returned. I had a cheap pair but the charging port had come unsoldered from the circuit board a week or so ago. I had attempted to repair the port using a ice pick heated in the flame of the range. It did appear to resolder but when I got it all back together it wouldn't charge and now one of the speakers didn't work. I am pretty handy but apparently I had a bad day.

I went ahead and treated myself to the almost new headphones.

Back in aRTy I attempted to power up the headphones, nothing. I hoped the battery was simply dead and plugged them into charge while I ate a salad I had bought earlier. Sure enough when I tried them again they powered up. They sounded a lot better than the old pair. I spent the rest of the evening listening to a Youtube concert of Neal Young. I like a lot of his music but some of his lyrics are pretty lame.
