Day 63

Woke up at 8 and had the usual breakfast. I went into WM and bought some groceries. I found some of the Hormel Compleats and bought a couple more.

I got on the road but didn't go far before I parallel parked along the beach and went for a walk. Absolutely no seashells. I spent the morning and part of the afternoon watching people at the beach. There was one guy who did the kite surfing thing. He was about my age and it looks like a lot of fun.

Later I drove on to Biloxi and checked out the Biloxi Light house. It was built in 1848 and had a range of just over 10 miles. It has been in constant use except during the Civil War. It was converted to electricity about 100 years ago.

Across from the Lighthouse was a Pier by the same name. I walked out to the end and was alone for a quite a while then a woman in her sixties walked out. She retired in January and had been in Florida at an Airbnb until recently. She was from Ohio and will return there in April.

A bit later several different groups of fishermen showed up. While I was there a young man caught a small catfish.

After a while I went back to the RT and had part of a sandwich. I spent the night parallel parked next to the beach. It was Hiway 90 and there was a lot of  vehicle traffic during the night. Definitely the noisiest placed I have stayed on this trip.
