Wiggin

Day 52

Woke at 8 EDST or 7 EST. To be honest it doesn't matter at all when you are retired. I get up around sunrise.

After the dogs did their first business of the day I secured everything and drove about a half a mile back to PetSmart. I fed the dogs and made my breakfast there in the parking lot. At 9:30 I took Wiggin into the store for his scheduled grooming. He was not one bit excited about it.

Back at the RT I cleaned up and put on a button up shirt and drive to One Live Church. A predominantly younger crowd. A good praise band though there could be a little less bass guitar. The young pastor had just returned from India on a mission trip. He was the spitting image of a younger Bill Maher. I had a hard time not holding that against him. He spoke on the parable of the prodigal son. How both son's were equally lost. The young for his disrespect of his father, the older for sticking straight to the rules and not having any compassion for his brother who was in evil in his  eyes but not in His eyes even though it was his father's wishes that he be welcomed home. . I got a little of the younger in me and whole overheaping portion of the elder son in me.

After church I went and picked up Wiggin. Apparently he didn't do well, apparently he was terrible nervous. They suggested that he be sedated next time. I am seriously thinking I will just buy some clippers and do it myself in the future.

After that I took them to a huge open field and let them just wander around for an hour or so.

Then I went to a Mall that was close by. There was a booth of goods from South America with a  Latin man playing the wooden flute. He was pretty good. I checked out all the free food samples at the food court.

Later that evening I found a laundromat and did a couple loads. I then drove a short distance and parked for the night next to a Homewood Suites for the night.
