French Quarter

Day 60

Woke up at 7:30 to a sunny morning. I fed the dogs and had the usual breakfast. After breakfast I secured everything and headed to the WW2 Museum. I parked a couple of blocks away understanding Business 90 Hi-way structure. $5.35 for over 14 hours. I walked to the museum only to find out it was closed due to the virus. I took a few photos and then walked to the Riverwalk Mall and had a coffee at PJ's Coffee.. There is not one chair in the entire food court. Hundres of tables but not one chair. Some weird stuff going on with this virus.

The Mississippi River is just outside the glass doors and there are a couple cruise ships moored there. One is the Norwegian Getaway.

I walked all the way through the Mall and then through the French quarter. I went back to the RT and some dinner. This morning I discussed text Uncle Orman about coming there tomorrow afternoon but after watching the news and the President I have decided that it might be better to see them later. I feel fine but I have not been careful about being in the public. I certainly wouldn't want for anyone to get ill on my account so I better not take a chance. I think I will be a little more careful from now on. I wanted to walk down Bourbon Street this evening and drove past it but it was pretty crowded so I just kept going and drove on to Sidell. I stopped there to get fuel at the Sam's Club and wound up spending the night in their parking lot.
