Tuesday 4Feb20 Day of Frustration

Day 19

Woke up around 7:30 to a rainy morning. I had the usual breakfast then drove to Walmart. There was a McDonald's in the WM so I just got coffee there. Coffee was $1.95.

After I got back to the RT I got on line to check on my retirement pay since I always got a busy signal when I called. There was an updated annuity summary with the $3600 amount. I requested a new annuity pamphlet be mailed and sent an email requesting one sent to my email.

I hope there is an acceptable reason why they are taking an additional $300 and that it is not being taken out to pay for the X's survivors benefit.

I then established another chat session with AT&T. I was handed off to numerous specialist. One Asian sounding lady said that there was no record of my request and as such I needed to start a new request. I informed her that was not an option and to get her supervisor on the line. I finally was called and was told the problem was with Samsung. After being put on hold several times he came back on and informed that he made special arrangements to expedite my request with someone at Samsung and that I would receive the unlock code email on February 5th. I don't believe the problem is with Samsung but as long as I get the code tomorrow I don't care.

I finally drove to Murphy's and filled up with 91 octane fuel. Then I got on the hiway and drove to a rest stop, fired up the generator and nuked some canned stew.

I drove on to White City but drove back a mile or so towards El Paso and parked for the night in a pull out. I was afraid the water and Rainey's soda would freeze so I put it in the passenger's seat.
