Day 38

Woke up at 8. Had the typical breakfast and drove to a Walmart with a McDonald's. Had coffee and updated budget.

After coffee I drove to the George W Bush Presidential Library and Museum.

As a vet I was able to get in for $10. For the most part I didn't enjoy my 3 years in the army, especially the 18 or so months I spent in Germany. It did however help me in getting a good job working for the US Air Foce. Especially for just barely getting a high school diploma. It does also allow me to get discounts at various events and attractions. Today it was cheaper than a senior ticket which was $13.

I spent about 3 hours in the museum. The thing that I've learned from visiting W's childhood home in Midland and the Library here in Dallas is that the Bush  family was very close. I so appreciate their moral values and think that both George Senior and George Junior were great men and leaders. I would aspire to be like them more than President Trump however  I like that Trump doesn't cave in to outside influence, especially to political correctness. I also like Trump because he has done or attempted to do all that he campaigned on. More so than any other President in my lifetime.

W did attempt to pass legislation to improve illegal immigration but Congress wouldn't pass it and that is still a failure on his part.

The museum was well designed, utilizing current technology. There was an interactive theater where you made desions on important issue during his presidency based on information obtained from various sources. The issue selected for my interaction was the Katerina Aftermath. The dision that the participants made were the same that President Bush made.

After I finished the museum I went back to the RT. I had parked at a Shopping Center on SMU Campus. I nuked a couple of burritos and watched the Vegas NASCAR race. I fed the dogs at 8 then I went and had a cup of chili at Goff's, a hamburger joint that has been in business for 70 years, since 1950.

After that I decided to just try to stay overnight in the parking lot.
