Monday 3Feb20 No food for one hungry dog

Day 18

Pete woke me up at 3:30 to pee. I discovered that he had peed on the bedroom rug. I cleaned it up as good as possible. Laid back down but not sure I slept much.

I got up around 7:30 and fixed the usual breakfast minus grapefruit. After breakfast I drove back to the Walmart and bought some groceries and water. I wanted to get syringes but they only sold them in 100 count boxes. I called another Walmart and was told the same story there. I called a Walgreens and wound up driving there to get a 10 count bag. Next I drove to a Petco to get a bag of Pete's prescription dog food. Come to find out in Texas PetSmart sells the dog food not Petco which is the opposite case in Utah.

I called a PetSmart to verify they have the food, however when I got there they informed me that they could not use the Petco card I called my vet and explained the situation and asked them to fax the prescription. They informed me that they were not allowed to fax the prescription. I vented my frustration and they put me on hold for 20 minutes. When they finally got back to me they said they would fax it this one time because of the situation. After 45 minutes and a couple of phone calls the finally received the fax. I will be changing vets when I return.

I got the dog food and drove to a Savers to get a small blanket for the dogs.

Then I went to a laundry mat and did a couple of loads of laundry, blankets and rugs.

I then drove to a residential area and parked for the night.
