Monday 27Jan20 Windshield washer repair
Day 11
Woke up with a note on the windshield saying I had committed a parking violation and that I had 48 hours to move the van or it would be towed at my expense.
After walking the dogs I drove to a Walmart for my morning potty break. I had the usual breakfast then drove to a McDonald's for coffee. I reviewed my budget and worked on the blog for a couple of hours. I asked a Mexican guy there having breakfast if he knew of a good salvage yard. He directed me to You-Pull and I drove there after my coffee break.
I found a van in the salvage yard that had the windshield washer fitting I needed to replace the broken one on the driver's side of the RT. I was able to get both the driver's and passenger's side fittings off without much trouble. I took the wiper arms as well.
I was able to remove the broken fitting and install the replacement fitting without much trouble. I replaced the driver's wiper arm as well.
