Woke at 5:30 and left the parking spot at 6. The rule when boonedocking is to arrive late and leave early. It was lightly snowing when I pulled out.
I drove until 8 then stopped for breakfast. I took the route that went through Soda Springs and there was quite a bit of fresh snow in the trees and alongside the road.
The roads were clear for the most part. I made it to the house around 1.
It was an amazing 8 week adventure. I saw so many spectacular places, met some nice people and learned so much about US history. I had absolutely no problems along the way. The RT seemed to get stronger the more I drove her. She climbed some amazing highths. She is the perfect size. On several occasions I would park in the heart of a busy metropolitan right during the middle of the day, have a leisurely lunch then take off on a stroll for the afternoon, maybe see a museum, come back and have dinner before getting back on the road.
There are a few improvements I want to make such as a rooftop rack to carry a kayak maybe two.
Wiggin and Pete did force me to limit the time I was away from the RT but I really enjoyed their company. I think they enjoyed the adventure as well.
I hope you have enjoyed reading the daily postings. I will be reviewing the journal and correcting all the obvious errors. I know there were many and I appreciate you overlooking them without comment.
Ultil the next adventure!
