Thursday 39May19 Pete's Bad Attitude
Woke up at 6. Went for a run. Then went in Walmart for a bit. Got back to the RT had breakfast and took a shower. I swapped the shower heads between the two showers. The one that was on the outside shower is easier to shutoff. Both drip a little water when they are off but this one drips less and is much easier to turn off and on.
Drove to a beach near by and spent most of the day there.
It's too bad that most beaches don't allow pets. I know Pete doesn't appreciate that.
Had a sandwich for lunch. Sat at a picnic table on the back deck of the park office building. Took the dogs a couple of short hikes. After the beach I drove to a Costco and filled up. Regular was still $2.75. I went in and had a quarter pound all beef hot dog. While there I got online and bought a ticket to tour the Pabst Brewery. Funny how certain items being back memories. When I was 15 years old I got my first job at Ruby's Redbud Grocery store. I remember stocking the beer in the cooler in that store. That and sorting pop bottles. Canned beer often reminds me of that store. I actually got fired from that store but it had nothing to do with the beer I promise! I remember how devastated I was at being fired from my first job.
After Costco I drove to a Walmart south of Milwaukee and close to a beach. Later I drove to the beach and took the dogs on a hike on the beach. I wasn't on the actual trail and it was steep and muddy. I had to carry Pete in certain places. In one extremely slippery steep spot I slipped and fell. No Injury but I got a bit muddy. Pete didn't much want to be carried after that. Once I got to the beach I asked some folks where the actual trail was. The trail had stairs and was much easier going but when I got back to a road I had difficult figuring out where the RT was parked. It was pretty dark before I found the RT.
After that adventure I drove back to the Walmart for the night.
