Monday 6May20 Car on Fire
Woke up at 7:30 had the usual breakfast. Worked on some of the previous day's maps and selected some photos to have printed to send to dad. After breakfast went into Walmart to get the selected photos printed.
I also bought a large grill cover to use to cover the bike since the cheap bike cover I had previously bought through Amazon was torn from the wind whipping it during road travel.
I made arrangements to get the oil changed in the RT. While waiting for the oil to be changed I noticed some black smoke. A vehicle had caught on fire in the parking lot. Luck for me it was not the RT.
There was a young lady attempting to get her battery out of her car and she needed some tools. I had what she needed and was able to help her out.
I made lunch in the RT and after cleaning up and installing the cover on the bike we got underway.
We drove until around 7 and stopped at a nice reststop about 40 minutes before Nashville.
After a chicken and dumplings dinner I attempted to get the printer to print some of the maps. After several failed attempts at various strategies to document these travels I decided to use a brochure template in Google Docs. So far I am happy with how it looks. Zack texted that he needed to get to work on the website but was happy that I was keeping a journal for now.
